Delhi, September 21: Air India's AI-467 flight from Delhi to Vijayawada suffered major damages and cabin crew members were injured when the aircraft faced severe thunderstorm. The incident which occurred on Saturday, September 21, no passengers were reported injured. Afterwards, the aircraft landed safely at Vijayawada International Airport, its original destination, where crew members were treated for injuries. Medics reported that there were no serious wounds. On June 18, three IndiGo crew members onboard Mumbai-Allahabad flight were wounded after the aircraft encountered air turbulence. In the incident, all passengers on board were reported safe. The crew members were provided medical help on landing. Due to the incident, the return flight was delayed by six hours.
