Yoga guru Swami Ramdev has raised serious concerns over systemic flaws in India’s education and recruitment systems, alleging that corruption has compromised nearly 90 percent of government job interviews across the country. Speaking during Independence Day celebrations at Patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwar, Ramdev addressed the growing nation-wide student unrest. He warned that unless structural reforms are implemented quickly, the government risks facing widespread youth-led protests.

Ramdev alleged that recruitment processes are heavily skewed by nepotism and favoritism rather than merit. According to him, candidates are frequently selected based on their caste, community affiliations, social background, or political ideology, leaving deserving applicants sidelined. He highlighted that growing unrest-such as recent youth protests in Jharkhand-stems from severe infrastructural deficits in public education. Beyond administrative fixes, the yoga guru called for political civility, criticizing the growing polarization between ruling and opposition parties. He urged political leaders and social communities across India to foster mutual respect rather than treating ideological adversaries as enemies.
