BMRCL announced a two-hour suspension on Bengaluru's Purple Line between Baiyappanahalli and MG Road from 7 AM to 9 AM on August 9 for maintenance. 'Normal services on the entire Purple Line, including the affected section between Baiyappanahalli and MG Road, will resume from 9 AM,' BMRCL said.
Commuters on Bengaluru’s Namma Metro Purple Line should prepare for travel adjustments this Sunday, August 9, as the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced a temporary suspension of services to facilitate essential maintenance work. Operations between the Baiyappanahalli and MG Road metro stations will remain halted for two hours, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, the transit authority confirmed on Friday, August 7.
Reason for Suspension
The BMRCL stated that the temporary service disruption is required to carry out "essential maintenance work" specifically located between the Swami Vivekananda Road and Indiranagar metro stations. Bengaluru Woman Strangled by Husband After Disputes Over Social Media Reels and Mobile Phone.
