Bhayandar Railway Bridge Stunt Viral Video: 6 Booked Over Graffiti and Pull-Up Stunts, 5 Fined
The RPF at Bhayandar has taken action against six people accused of painting graffiti and performing stunts while hanging beneath a railway bridge. Five adults were fined INR 2,000 each and given one day of TRC by a Railway Court, while a 16-year-old was released to his father and directed to appear before the Juvenile Justice Board on September 4.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Bhayandar has taken action against six people for allegedly painting graffiti and performing stunts by hanging under a railway bridge in the Bhayandar area, an official statement said on Wednesday, September 2. The action followed an investigation into a viral Instagram video showing people carrying out stunts beneath the bridge.
The case was registered by RPF Bhayandar under Sections 147 and 145 of the Railways Act. Five adults were produced before the Railway Court at Vasai Road, which imposed a INR 2,000 fine and one day of TRC (temporary rigorous custody) on each. How RPF Traced The Suspects
According to the RPF, the investigation began after officials received information about a viral Instagram video showing people performing stunts at the Bhayandar bridge. Using an old Instagram video and the registration number of a scooter visible in it, RPF personnel traced one of the suspects.
The person, identified as Kishab Deepak Lohana, 29, was called to the RPF office at Bhayandar on August 31. During questioning, Lohana allegedly identified another participant, Kuljeet Singh, 21. Following their statements, the RPF contacted other alleged participants and asked them to report to the Bhayandar unit. Four more people appeared before the authorities on September 1. They were identified as three adults and one 16-year-old boy. The RPF said all six admitted to allegedly carrying out graffiti and performing stunts beneath the Bhayandar bridge without permission.
The five adults were produced before the Railway Court at Vasai Road on September 1. The court reportedly imposed an INR 2,000 fine and one day of TRC (temporary rigorous custody) on each of the five. All five paid the imposed fines. The action was taken in connection with the RPF Bhayandar case registered under Sections 147 and 145 of the Railways Act.
The sixth participant, a 16-year-old boy, was treated as a child in conflict with the law. His father, Rajiv Mehta, was called to the RPF office and informed about the incident. The boy was issued a notice under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) and released into his father's care.
He has been directed to appear before the Juvenile Justice Board, Bhiwandi, on September 4, 2026. The RPF said further investigation into the case is being conducted by Sub-Inspector Rohitash Singh. The six participants have also reportedly released apology videos in connection with the viral videos.
