Bhondsi, March 24: Gurugram police officials on Friday filed a cross FIR against the Muslim family that was allegedly attacked by a mob on Holi in Bhondsi's Bhoop Singh Nagar. The alleged attack took place after a dispute over a cricket match. The case was filed by Rajkumar, accused in the case. The First Information Report (FIR) has been filed under sections 323 and 324 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Bhondsi police station.

Rajkumar stated in his complaint said, "I was going on a bike when a ball hit me. When I objected, I was beaten up by people who were playing there. Some people rescued me. Going to the case, a Muslim family was attacked by a mob with iron rods and sticks on March 22. Some reports said that brawl was triggered over a cricket dispute but the victim claimed that it was a planned attack. The video of the incident also went viral in which over 10 people can be seen mercilessly beating Muslim family's male member. The attackers also told the family 'Go Back to Pakistan' and 'Play Cricket in Pakistan.'
