The BJP MLA also said that during 2019 Lok Sabha Elections in the state some government officers also threatened BJP workers and forced them to support another party (referring to SP-BSP alliance).

Reacting to Ramratan Kushwaha's remark, BJP district in-charge Ram Kishore Sahu objected the MLA's statement. Sahu said that Lalitpur MLA made these statements after being thrown into the emotions. "If anyone is hurt, Kushwaha regrets his statement", he said.
