New Delhi, January 18: In a shocking incident, a woman was shot in her leg by unidentified assailants during her wedding ceremony last night. The incident that took place in New Delhi's Shakarpur area, was reported to Police and the survivor was taken to nearby hospital for treatment. The bridegroom, while speaking to news agency ANI said, "Don't know who the person was. Bullet brushed past her legs. Police was later called here." This is not the first instance, earlier, a 25-year-old groom was shot by two unknown people when his wedding procession was heading towards the wedding venue in south Delhi’s Madangir. The man identified as Badal, sustained injuries in his right hand after which he was rushed to the hospital. After the three hours of treatment, he returned to the mandap and completed all the rituals.
