Low-cost carrier Jet Airways on Saturday announced its Global Sale of the month, where, travellers can avail up to 50 per cent discounts on domestic and international flight tickets. "Jet Airways discount offer is applicable on base fares in the premiere and economy booking classes on the selected domestic and international flights," said the carrier on its official website- jetairways.com. Jet Airways' offers on flight tickets come amid the rising competition in the country's civil aviation sector, advanced by sturdy growth in passenger traffic registered over the past few months.   1. Airlines offer is applicable to both one way and return journey.
  2. According to Airline, Up to 50 per cent discount is applicable on base fare in Premiere and Economy classes of flights to selected destinations in Europe.
  3. However, the carrier noted that the offer is not applicable for travel to Sharjah and Muscat.
  4. The Exclusive benefits are available on bookings done directly on the airline's website or mobile application.
  5. The airline noted zero cancellation fee for all changes or reversals made within 24 hours of booking.

The low-cost carrier further added that it reserves the right at any time to alter, modify, change any of the terms and conditions without any prior notice.

According to data from aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the domestic carriers had seen a growth of 20 per cent increase the number of air passengers in the first ten months of last calendar year. According to data, Domestic carrier carried 1,146.37 lakh passengers from January to October in 2018, compared to 954.45 lakh in the corresponding period in 2017.
