According to preliminary reports, a police employee identified as Chiranjeev Choudhury opened fire inside the outpost premises using an AK-47 service rifle. Among the deceased is Indrajit Bora, who was serving as the Officer-in-Charge of the Gamerimura Police Outpost, alongside another personnel identified as Fazrul Ali.
