New Delhi, November 27: A 12-year-old boy ran away from his house in Faridabad after an argument with his parents and planned to escape to Bengaluru. However, his plans were foiled by the airline staff at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) airport. According to a report by TOI, the boy would have easily escaped to Bengaluru, if his mother hadn’t received an SMS alert after he booked a ticket on a Vistara Airlines flight from Delhi. The report informs that the boy was intercepted at IGI Airport and was returned to his family.

The incident occurred on Friday at around 10 PM when the Vistara Airlines staff counter at IGI received a call from Delhi police that a 12-year-old boy would try to board a flight to Bengaluru. The 12-year-old, a Class VII student, booked the flight ticket using his mother’s card. The report informs that soon after his mother received the SMS alert, the parents immediately called Faridabad police. The police sprang into action and asked Vistara Airlines to be alert and detain a minor boy who may try to board flight UK 811 to Bengaluru. The boy was intercepted and was taken to the IGI police station.

According to details by the Police, the boy decided to leave his home after a disagreement with his parents. They informed that the boy had not informed his parents before leaving home. Reports inform that the boy had plans to go to a relative in Bengaluru.
