Delhi: 21-Year-Old Drugged, Gangraped By Four Men in New Ashok Nagar; Case Registered

New Delhi, November 7: In a shocking incident of sexual assault, a 21-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped by four men including her friend at his flat in east Delhi’s New Ashok Nagar on October 31. The girl alleged that she was invited by her friend when she was drugged and then gangraped. The survivor filed a complaint on November 2, against the four men based on which a case of drugging and gangrape was registered against the four men at the New Ashok Nagar police station. The accused are known to the girl.

According to a report published in Hindustan Times, all the accused are absconding after allegedly committing the crime. The raids have been conducted by the police in Delhi and adjoining states to nab the four men., the police said. As per the report, the girl’s friend invited her to a party that he had organised at his flat. The survivor told the police that she met him in late in the evening and he took her to his flat. His three friends were already present at the flat. The 21-year-old girl accused the four men of mixing her cold drink with drugs after which she was gangraped. After the survivor came to consciousness, all the accused threatened her not to report the incident to the police. However, the next day, she told her sister about the ordeal she had gone through. All the four accused worked in private companies.

In September, an 11-year-old girl was allegedly raped in the national capital in ESI Hospital in Rohini by a housekeeping staff of the hospital. A case was registered at KN Katju Marg Police Station. According to reports,  the accused was arrested.
