Victim Identified As Muskan
The victim has been identified as Muskan, a student and a model. She was murdered when she was alone at her home on the second floor of a building in Tilak Nagar. The accused, identified as Imran, allegedly attacked her with a knife before fleeing the spot.

Neighbours Found Her In Pool Of Blood
Upon hearing Muskan's screams, her neighbours rushed to her house and found her lying in a pool of blood. They took her to the hospital, where she died of her injuries. Police Say Search Underway For Accused
"We are searching for the culprit," Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abhishek Gupta told reporters. Investigators are examining CCTV footage from the area, he said. Multiple teams have been formed to nab the suspect.

Friend Says Accused Used To Harass Her
Muskan's friend, Aman, said she was the youngest of three sisters. He said her elder sister, who is currently in Chandigarh, called him and asked him to rush to the house after learning someone had stabbed Muskan. He said he then called another friend to reach the house and take her to the hospital, but by the time he arrived, the ambulance had already taken her.
Aman also claimed that Muskan's sisters told him that Imran "used to harass her" and that he had done so before as well, which is why suspicion immediately fell on him.
Investigation Underway
Some relatives and neighbours told police that they often saw the gym trainer in the locality and that he had been trying to pursue Muskan, who was suspected to have rejected him. Police are trying to scan her phone for leads. Her parents seemed unaware of her friendship with the trainer, an officer said.
Police have raided the gym and the home of the suspect and questioned his family and friends. Muskan's body was preserved in a mortuary for a postmortem on Thursday morning.
