New Delhi, November 21: The air quality in the city has deteriorated again, providing no respite to people living in the national capital. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the major pollutant PM 2.5 at 297 (Poor category) at Lodhi Road and at 346 ('Very Poor' category) were recorded in the area around Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

The overall AQI in Delhi was at 322 under the 'Hazardous' category in the morning. Gurugram air was in the unhealthy category at AQI 175. The situation was the same in Ghaziabad as well, where the AQI was at 249, which falls under the 'Unhealthy' category, according to IQ Air Visual app. Delhi Air Pollution: AQI Dips to 'Very Unhealthy' Category, Situation to Deteriorate Further Due to Reduced Flow of Air.

After providing a slight relief due to increased wind speed, Skymet weather app predicted the air quality to turn severe over the next few days. The reason being, the reduced flow of air is likely to lead to an increase in the accumulation of pollutants in the region. Not only Delhi, but Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad too are going to be impacted by the worsening air.
