New Delhi, April 3: Delhi Police has registered an FIR against several social media users including @khurpench, @gemsofbabus for allegedly tampering with and circulating confidential documents linked to the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), officials confirmed on Thursday. The case, which raises serious concerns about data privacy and online misinformation, has prompted authorities to seek detailed user information from X.
According to police sources, the complaint was filed last month by an FSSAI representative who flagged the circulation of manipulated official documents online. A senior officer, speaking on condition of anonymity, said, “We have been told that the documents were tampered with and circulated through multiple posts to malign the image of a senior officer. The complainant told us that these influencers, in connivance with some other people, uploaded the posts to harm FSSAI’s reputation.” Food Authority Vacant, FSSAI in Limbo? Delhi Police FIR Over Alleged FSSAI Document Tampering

Since an FIR has been filed against me, I want to ask the Health Minister a few questions.
JP Nadda ji, why is FSSAI going after those who are raising questions instead of those accused of wrongdoing?

Delhi Police have filed an FIR against me.
I had written about an FSSAI issue. I have already taken down those posts and am also removing many others.
I already have too many things going on in my life.
In the future, you may see me silent. I cannot handle this level of stress…

In a letter dated April 1, Delhi Police formally approached X, stating, “An incident has been reported… We are in the process of investigation… certain posts were published on Twitter (X) by multiple handlers with malicious intent to defame her and damage her reputation in society, thereby creating chaos before the public.”
Authorities have requested registration details of the accounts involved, including mobile numbers, email IDs, and login activity logs. The notice also seeks “any other information” that could help identify those responsible, as the investigation continues to unfold.
