Faridabad-based content creator Vinod Kaushik, who runs the Instagram account @faridabadcouple, has come under public attention after posting a series of videos making allegations against his wife, Megha. One of the videos shows Kaushik performing Pind Daan, a Hindu ritual traditionally associated with the deceased, for his wife while she is alive. The clip has been widely circulated on social media, prompting debate and mixed reactions online.

In subsequent Instagram videos, Kaushik alleged that his wife had an inappropriate relationship with her employer to obtain promotions. He also posted another video referring to issues related to their child.

The viral posts have also renewed attention on a criminal case involving Kaushik that was reported in 2025. According to police, Vinod Kaushik was accused of shooting and critically injuring his friend, liquor businessman Suresh Kumar, after learning that Suresh had travelled to Manali with Kaushik's wife, Megha, along with other companions. Police registered an FIR for attempted murder and launched a search for the accused.
Investigators had said Megha worked as a manager at one of Suresh Kumar's salons and that disputes between the couple over her association with Suresh had preceded the alleged shooting. The incident reportedly occurred outside a residential society in Greater Faridabad after the group returned from the trip.
