New Delhi, May 9: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from East Delhi Gautam Gambhir on Thursday rejected Aam Aadmi Party's allegations that he distributed pamphlets containing derogatory remarks against her AAP rival Atishi and dared Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's party to prove its charges. "If they can get a proof, I'll resign right now & if they get a proof by 23rd I'll resign on that particular day. But if Arvind Kejriwal does not get the proof, does he accept the challenge that he will leave politics forever on 23rd?, " Gambhir was quoted saying news agency ANIManish Sisodia Gets Election Commission's Notice Over His Tweet on Atishi's Religion.

The former Indian cricketer also said that he will file a defamation case against the people who are accusing him. "You can't tarnish someone's image just like that, if you don't have the proof. I have never given a negative statement against anyone so far in my election campaigning," former Indian Cricketer said.

A copy of the pamphlet is going viral on the internet. The content, highly defamatory in nature, is distributed in East Delhi parliamentary seat with aim of defaming Atish's image before the votes.
