Noida, March 29: In a tragic incident, at least eight people have been killed in a deadly road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida area on Friday. According to a tweet by ANI, the mishap took place after a bus, full of passengers, rammed into a truck on Yamuna Expressway in the city during the early hours on Friday. As soon as the incident was reported, police rushed to the spot. The injured ones have been taken to the nearby hospital. Some passengers are believed to be in a critical condition. Reports inform that the area where the accident took place falls under  Greater Noida Rabupura Police Station area. More details awaited.

In the last week, one woman was killed and 10 others were left injured in a road accident on Yamuna expressway. According to a report by TOI, the tragic incident took place in the morning when a van coming from the wrong direction suffered a head-on-collision with a hatchback which was heading towards Agra.

On March 24, six people were killed and 45 others were injured after a bus fell into a forge near Trimbakeshwar in Maharashtra's Palghar district. According to reports, the emergency workers were immediately rushed to the spot to expedite the rescue operations.
