An INR 500 dispute over a mobile Ludo game turned violent in Gujarat's Jetpur after a man was allegedly stabbed by his own friend when he refused to hand over money won during the game. The incident took place outside a government hospital, where the two men had been playing Ludo after placing a cash bet on the outcome.

According to police, the complainant, Munabhai, won the game and kept the money. His friend and accused, Veerpal, allegedly demanded that Munabhai hand over the winnings. The incident occurred when Munabhai and Veerpal were sitting on a bench outside a government hospital in Jetpur and playing Ludo on a mobile phone.

The two had also placed a cash bet on the game. Police said Munabhai won the game but refused to give the winnings to Veerpal when he later demanded the money. The disagreement subsequently turned into an argument.

During the argument, Veerpal allegedly snatched Munabhai's motorcycle keys. When Munabhai demanded that the keys be returned, the accused allegedly became enraged and attacked him with a sharp weapon. Munabhai sustained injuries in the attack and was subsequently taken to Navagarh Government Hospital by people at the spot.

Doctors at Navagarh Government Hospital provided initial treatment to Munabhai. However, due to the severity of his injuries, he was referred to Junagadh Civil Hospital for further treatment. His condition is reported to be serious but stable.

After receiving information about the incident, personnel from Jetpur Udyognagar police reached the hospital. Police registered Munabhai's complaint and arrested Veerpal based on the complaint. The weapon allegedly used in the attack was also seized from the accused. Police have registered a case and initiated further legal action.

The incident highlights how a dispute over a relatively small cash bet allegedly escalated into a violent confrontation between two friends.
