The couple married on April 30 last year and had recently shifted to their home in Panchsheel Colony. According to investigators, they had performed a housewarming ceremony about a month ago. Family members told police that frequent domestic disputes had strained the relationship.
FIR Registered, Search Underway
An FIR has been lodged at Palla police station under relevant sections related to murder. Police said efforts are ongoing to trace and arrest the accused, who remains absconding. Authorities said the investigation will examine the sequence of events leading to the woman's death, including statements from relatives, forensic findings and the post-mortem report.
The case has once again drawn attention to the issue of domestic violence, particularly crimes committed against women within their homes. Police have not indicated any additional motive beyond the reported domestic dispute, and further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
