A group of women in Vrindavan, Mathura, assaulted a sadhu accused of s*xually exploiting and blackmailing vulnerable women, including widows and those without children. Allegations of Exploitation and Blackmail

The accused, identified as Himmat Giri (also known as Hemant Raj Meena), 50, from Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, allegedly contacted women through Facebook using fake names, reports Dainik Bhaskar. Survivors claim he targeted widows and childless women, established physical relations with them, secretly recorded videos, and then threatened to release the footage to coerce them into silence or further compliance. One woman from Bhopal described meeting him at a Devi temple in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. She said he later assaulted her when she resisted and that he used similar methods with others. She filed a complaint with Rajasthan Police about seven months ago. After that, the sadhu went into hiding and frequently changed locations.

Women and VHP Workers Set a Trap

Survivors coordinated with local Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) office-bearers to locate him. Police Response and Ongoing Inquiry

Mathura Police confirmed that the officer in charge of Vrindavan police station has been directed to investigate the matter and take necessary action. Crime inspector Dharmendra Singh of Vrindavan Kotwali stated that a woman has lodged a complaint. The accused is from Rajasthan and the complainant from Madhya Pradesh; the alleged original incident occurred in Rajasthan. Action will proceed on the basis of the complaint and emerging facts. Videos shared by journalists, including one posted by Madan Mohan Soni, show the women confronting and assaulting the sadhu inside and outside the guest house. The case remains under investigation as police examine the allegations of s*xual exploitation and blackmail.
