IRCTC Site Maintenance: Passengers Won't be Able To Book Train Tickets For Five Hours From Tonight Till Tomorrow Morning

New Delhi, July 13: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation website - a subsidiary of the Indian Railways that handles the catering, tourism and online ticketing operations of the Indian Railways - will remain closed for over five hours due to maintenance purpose from 11 pm on Saturday to Sunday 4:35 am on Sunday.

During these hours, the online users will not be able to log in to the website, nor they would be able to either book or cancel tickets for their planned journey. Also, the enquiry services under 139 and messaging services under PRS would remain suspended during the hours. Indian Railways Plans to Add 4 Lakh Berths by Leaving Power Cars

It is to be known that Indian Railways have cancelled 264 trains on Saturday for maintenance purpose or either havoc created by the continuous downpour. People have been advised to check the status prior to the schedule through the National Train Enquiry System (NTES).

Those who have booked the tickets and are about to travel, but their tickets got cancelled, will get the full refund of the amount they spent on booking. Also, passengers staying nearby the major junctions are advised to contact the railways' station manager for more details.
