Srinagar, July 23: The defence forces have arrested two members of banned terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen, a pro-Pakistani terrorist organization on Tuesday. According to reports, the two overground workers of Hizbul Mujahideen were arrested from Nawabazar area of Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar district. Acting on the specific information about the presence of terrorists in the locality, a search operation was initiated following which they were zeroed in and the duo were arrested in a smooth operation. Meanwhile, last month, a Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist was neutralised in a pre-drawn operation of security forces in Pulwama's Armulla city. “On a tip-off, a cordon-and-search operation was launched at Chadoora’s Bugam area. During the search operation, the hiding militants fired on the search party. following the encounter a body was recovered," police said.
