The slain terrorists were identified as Mohammed Idrees Sultan and Amir Hussain Rather, affiliated with terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen. No collateral damage was reported. Two terrorists were killed in an encounter by security forces in Khudpora area of Shopian district on Saturday. The deceased terrorists were from Shopian itself and had been identified as Mohd Irfan Bhat and Shahid Mir.

Security personnel have also appealed to the locals to not venture inside the encounter zone since such an area can prove dangerous due to stray explosive materials.
