The two prisoners have been identified as Farman Khan, a resident of Rajasthan and Mukhtar Ahmad Gujjar, from Anantnag district in Jammu and Kashmir. Police have launched a manhunt to trace and apprehend the duo following their escape.
Who Are The Two Escaped Undertrials?

Gujjar was facing similar charges in a separate case registered at Soura police station in Srinagar.
Both men were lodged as undertrials at the Central Jail in Srinagar while proceedings in their respective cases were underway.
Manhunt Launched Across Kashmir
Following the reported jailbreak, security agencies have stepped up efforts to locate the two undertrials.
