2011 census showed that the Parsi population was just 57,264, which was a huge drop from 1,14,000 in 1941. The 2021 census will show the data on how far the community has been able to check the decline in their population.
In September, a special meet was organised, in which prominent Parsis advised bachelors in the community on how to date and ultimately marry girls within their community. It was a joint initiative by Jam-e-Jamshed and Jiyo Parsi, where a team of the panellist was seen mentoring bachelors between the age group of 18-45 years at RTI Hall, Hughes Road.
