New Delhi, November 20: After the meeting between Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union (JNUSU) and counsellors on Wednesday bore no results, the protesting students said they will continue with their protests until the demands are met. According to a tweet by ANI, JNUSU General Secy said that during the meeting between all the 4 office bearers of the JNUSU & counsellors, they were briefed about the crisis in JNU. "We were told that our demands will be further recommended as soon as possible. Protest will continue inside campus until our demands are met", he said.

The HRD ministry had called the members of the JNU students’ union for a meeting on Wednesday with the high-power committee constituted by the ministry to look into the issues concerning the university. Earlier in the day, a delegation of JNU students had reached the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) in the national capital. The Ministry has appointed a high power committee for discussion with students and administration for peaceful resolution of all issues in the University.

On Tuesday, the Delhi Police lodged two FIRs in connection with the protest by JNU students. On Monday, JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh said that they had a meeting with joint secretary of the HRD ministry G.C. Hosur and requested him to ensure that no administrative action is initiated against the students. =
