Investigators revealed that Goyal and Chaudhary had exchanged over 2,000 phone calls spanning roughly 238 hours in the six months leading up to the incident. Police also discovered that Chaudhary had attempted to establish an alibi by deliberately leaving his personal mobile phone at his shop to stay "digitally offline" for over ten hours, a tactic that investigators say ultimately intensified their suspicions.
