Indore, November 28: One Election Commission official in Guna and two officials in Indore have passed away during the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, reported ANI. Three booth officers reportedly died on Wednesday morning due to cardiac arrest, that could be because of elections pressure. In a meanwhile, polling is underway in Madhya Pradesh to decide the fate of 2,907 candidates, for the 230-seat Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha, will be sealed by over 5 crore voters today. In Madhya Pradesh, Bharatiya Janata Party has filed candidates for all 230 seats while its arch-rival Congress is contesting in 229 seats leaving one seat for Sharad Yadav-led LJD. Meanwhile, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has filed 227 candidates and the Samajwadi Party is contesting in 51 seats. The counting of votes and result for Madhya Pradesh will be announced on December 11.
