Hoshangabad, February 23: In a world, where, humanity seems to have lost, a police officer from Madhya Pradesh has restored the belief. A police official from Madhya Pradesh's Hoshangabad ran more than a kilometre along the railway tracks with an injured man on his shoulders. Poonam Billore, a police constable, has to take this step as the ambulance couldn't reach the spot, where, the man had fallen from the train. Delhi Police Donates 1 Crore for Families of CRPF Jawans Killed in Pulwama Attack.

In the video shared by news agency ANI, Billore can be seen lifting the injured man in his shoulder and running along the tracks. Later, the man, identified as Ajit, was admitted to Seoni Malwa Hospital. For this act, Billore was appreciated by DGP of Madhya Pradesh who wrote "Thanks for bringing this to notice. SP Hoshangabad @HoshangabadP, look into the same and reward/recognize this brave policeman adequately."

Billore, speaking to ANI, said, "The spot was around two kilometres away from the railway gate, even ambulance couldn't reach. We went by foot and found him critically injured. So to save his life, I carried him on my shoulders to a railway crossing over 1.5 kilometres away. He was then taken to the hospital." Meanwhile, the injured person is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hoshangabad.
