Bhopal, December 2: Days after the horrific incident of rape and murder of a veterinary doctor in Hyderabad, another shocking story has come into light from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh, where an alleged stalker -- out on bail -- stabbed to death a 17-year-old girl, on whose complaint he had been jailed two months ago. The police later arrested him.

According to the police records, the accused has been identified as Shivkumar Chaudhary, who is a resident of Kudwari village in the district. Informing more about the incident, Jabalpur Superintendent of Police -- Amit Singh -- said, as reported by Hindustan Times, "Shivkumar Chaudhary had been stalking and harassing the teenager for a long time. Two months ago, the girl lodged a complaint with Gohalpur police station. Police had arrested Chaudhary and sent him to jail. Chaudhary entered her home and locked the door from inside and attacked her with a knife, which he purchased online."

Adding more, Singh mentioned neighbours gathered outside the house after girl screamed for help and called the police immediately. However, by the time police reached the spot, Chaudhary had already stabbed the girl and was caught later.
