New Delhi, February 25: In a tragic incident, three Class 10 girls in Maharashtra’s Buldhana district ended their lives on Sunday due to examination stress. According to reports, the girls, belonging to Khamgaon city, consumed rat poison as they feared failing in the upcoming Maharashtra SSC Board Examination 2019, that are slated to take place on March 1. According to a report by Times Now, the students took the extreme step as they were not convinced that they will pass after the practical examination. The three are students of National High School in the city. According to a report, Rupali (the student who survived) informed that they consumed rat poison and then had pani puri after which two girls- 16-year-old Naina Sadashiv Shinde and 15-year-old Nikita Anil Rohnkar fell ill and lost their lives. Rupali, whose condition is critical is undergoing a treatment. Reports inform that the trio consumed the poison after a named Nikita brought the rat poison from her home. After consuming the poison, they decided to have pani puri and then went home. As per the report, the girls after consuming the poison went to their houses after which they all suffered nausea and difficulty in breathing. Soon after, they were rushed to the hospital.
