Mumbai: Law Graduate Jumps to Death From 13th Floor in Bandra After Ex-Girlfriend’s Police Threats, 2 Women Booked

The Kherwadi Police have registered an abetment of suicide case against two women following the death of a 24-year-old law graduate in Mumbai’s Bandra East. The victim allegedly jumped from his 13th-floor apartment after facing persistent threats over a sour relationship. His mother filed a complaint after receiving threatening messages threatening a police case against him.

The Kherwadi Police have registered a case of abetment of suicide against two women following the death of a 24-year-old law graduate in Mumbai’s Bandra East. The young man died after jumping from his 13th-floor apartment recently. Police said he had been under severe stress after the two women allegedly threatened to frame him in a police case.

According to police, the deceased lived with his parents and younger brother in Bandra East. He had earlier worked as a law clerk with a judge and was currently working from home. On August 6, she received a phone call from two of her son’s friends, who told her that he had been in a relationship with a woman while they were studying in Bangalore, Times of India reported. The relationship later soured, following which the woman and her elder sister allegedly began threatening him.

His mother confronted him about the situation, and he admitted that he was being threatened and was under stress. While the mother was speaking to her son’s friend over the phone, the young man went into his bedroom and jumped from the 13th floor. When his mother could not get him to open the door, she asked the driver to arrange duplicate keys. However, the driver informed her that a large crowd had gathered below the building and that the youth had jumped.

He was taken to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Following his death, his mother approached Kherwadi Police, after which an FIR was registered against the two women.
