According to Palav, he purchased 500 grams of Kaju Katli from the Tewaris outlet at Charni Road on July 29. Sharing the incident on X, he wrote: "Food Safety Alert On 29 July, 26 I purchased 500g of Kaju Katli from Tewaris, Charni Road. I noticed a corroded metal pin embedded inside the sweet. This raises serious concerns about hygiene, food safety, and quality control. (sic)"
