Mumbai, September 23: In a shocking incident of sexual assault, Juhu Police have booked a Delhi resident for allegedly raping a 28-year-old MBA professional whom he had called inside a hotel room in the pretext of a job interview. According to a Times of India report, police said the accused Sahil Singh Arora had promised to offer the woman a job in a private bank's HR Department.

The report mentioned that last year the complainant first came to Mumbai from her hometown Uttar Pradesh. She was staying at a PG accommodation in Navi Mumbai and quit her job and went back to her home. However, she returned again in April this year and was looking out for good openings on online networking sites. In the month of July, Arora contacted her and told her about an opening which was offering Rs 30,000 package. On September 19, the woman got a call from the accused asking her to appear for a job interview at a Juhu hotel. When she entered the room, he locked it and repeatedly raped her. She was allowed to leave the next day and was threatened not to tell anyone else, otherwise, he would circulate the videos and send them to her father.

The woman, however, complained to the police about the assault and a case of rape and intimidation has been filed against the accused.
