Mumbai, July 11: On Wednesday, July 9, the Mumbai police arrested a man for allegedly kidnapping two cousins aged 17 and 19. The accused, a businessman from South Mumbai, allegedly forced the victims to perform oral sex. Cops said that the accused kidnapped and forced the victims into sex as the minor had fled after stealing INR 3 lakh from him in February.
The alleged incident occurred on Friday, July 4, when one of the employees of the accused called the minor and gave a tip that the businessman was travelling to Parbhani with INR 40 lakh cash. Seeking this as an opportunity to steal money, the minor reached the said location with his 19-year-old cousin, reports Hindustan Times. Over there, the accused and three others kidnapped the duo and took them to Pune and later to Mumbai. Accused Assaulted Victims With Belt, Forced Them to Have Oral Sex
The accused then questioned the minor about the INR 3 lakh which he had stolen. Post this, the two cousins were allegedly assaulted with a belt and forced to have oral sex with each other. After this, the accused took the victims to a police station where the cops arrested the minor for theft. Soon after the minor boy was arrested, his cousin told about what transpired.
Acting on the victim's statement, the police booked four people, including the businessman, his business partner and two others. On Wednesday, cops arrested the businessman and have launched a manhunt to nab the other three accused who are at large. Speaking about the incident, a police officer said that the minor had stolen INR 3 lakh from the businessman's angadia shop in South Mumbai. "A case was registered against him at the local police station. He has been absconding since then," he added. All four accused have been booked under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).
