The tree collapse occurred in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, one of the city’s major commercial hubs.
The fallen tree blocked a portion of the road, causing slow movement and temporary congestion in the area. Commuters faced delays as traffic was diverted while clearance work was underway.

BKC, which houses corporate offices, financial institutions, and government buildings, witnesses heavy daily traffic. The tree fall led to bottlenecks in nearby routes, adding to the congestion already caused by persistent rainfall in the city.
