New Delhi, July 25: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Instagram Reel on the Centre's proposed measures to tackle exam paper leaks has become the highest-viewed Instagram Reel within 24 hours, crossing more than 303 million views and surpassing the previous benchmark of around 300 million views held by American streamer IShowSpeed.

The selfie-style video, posted late on Thursday, features PM Modi addressing India's youth, acknowledging concerns over paper leaks and outlining the government's plan to strengthen action against those involved. The reel has also received more than 16 million likes, over 1.5 million comments, and helped the Prime Minister gain nearly one million new Instagram followers overnight.

PM Modi Overtakes IShowSpeed's Viral Reel

According to publicly visible Instagram metrics and media reports, PM Modi's reel crossed 303 to 305 million views within its first 24 hours and has continued to attract millions more views.

The previous benchmark was held by IShowSpeed, whose Instagram Reel featuring his meeting with BTS reportedly reached around 300 million views in its first 24 hours.

While Meta does not maintain an official leaderboard for 24-hour Reel view records, multiple media reports and publicly available view counts indicate that PM Modi's video has overtaken the previous milestone.

Video Focuses on Paper Leak Reforms

In the record-breaking reel, PM Modi described paper leaks as a serious concern affecting lakhs of students and their families. On Friday, PM Modi shared another Instagram Reel thanking people, particularly youngsters, for the overwhelming response to his message.
