Karnataka, January 2: Elaborate security arrangements have been done in the state before Prime Minister Narendra Modi lands as part of his two-day visit to the state. PM Modi will be participating in various programmes in Karnataka, today. The first programme will be a visit to Sree Siddaganga Mutt in Tumakuru.

According to an Indian Express report, Modi will lay the foundation stone for the Shivakumara Swami museum in Tumakuru. From addressing over 1.5 lakh farmers to launching the 4th phase of the Kisan Samman Yojana in the district, PM Modi has the following things as part of his itinerary.

Modi will also distribute Kisan Credit Cards to farmers from Karnataka. There will be some fishermen from Tamil Nadu who will also receive keys to advanced vessels for deep-sea fishing. PM Modi will participate at an event in Junior College Grounds, Tumakuru and address a gathering at Krishi Karman Awards presentation ceremony. He will also visit the Defence Research and Development Organisation and will stay at the Raj Bhavan.

On Friday, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the 107th Indian Science Congress at the Gandhi Krishi Vignana Kendra Campus at the University of Agricultural Sciences in Bengaluru.
