In a case of cruelty against a minor, a woman in Noida allegedly burnt the private parts of a 13-year-old boy after he declined the sexual advancements made by the woman, the police said on Tuesday. The woman allegedly heated a pair of tongs and burned the private parts of the boy, who had to be treated for burn injuries on his private parts, said the boy's mother.

According to media reports, the incident took place on October 5. The boy's mother has claimed that she rescued her son and that the woman, a neighbour, wanted to have sex with the minor and was enraged when the boy resisted her attempts. The police complaint said that the incident took place at Greater Noida’s Chhapraula village. The boy was reportedly studying at his home when the accused woman came to his house, and told the mother of her boy that she needed the boy for help in getting something from the grocery store.

The boy's mother said that she allowed her son to go and help the woman as they are neighbours. But about half-an-hour later, she heard her son shouting in pain. When she reached the house of the woman, she found out what was happening. The boy later narrated the entire incident to his mother, following which a complaint was made to the police. The police has filed a case against the accused under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and other sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), but the women is on the run and has not been arrested yet.
