According to officials, a sudden spell of intense rainfall, believed to have been caused by a localised cloudburst, struck the forest areas of Awoora and Dehwathu in south Kashmir's Anantnag district.
The cloudburst led to flash floods in a stream flowing through Awoora, causing water to overflow into nearby areas. Authorities confirmed that there have been no reports of deaths or injuries in the incident. The local administration is closely monitoring the situation and assessing the extent of the damage.
