According to the authorities, the car doors automatically locked behind them, trapping the two children inside under the intense heat. A frantic search was launched by family members and local residents after the girls went missing for an extended period. They were eventually discovered lying unconscious on the seats inside the vehicle. Though the children were immediately pulled out, they had already succumbed to suffocation before medical help could arrive. Station House Officer Gurudutt Saini confirmed that the bodies have been shifted to the district hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination, and a formal police investigation has been initiated into the matter. According to the grieving father, Ramesh, who works as a laborer and lives in a rented house in the village, the two daughters were his sole emotional support following his wife's demise four years ago.
