The investigation began 17 days ago when local authorities discovered a headless torso dumped in a remote location. Police initially registered a case of murder against unidentified individuals and formed a special team to identify the victim and trace those involved. Through forensic examination, local intelligence, and a review of missing person reports, the deceased was identified as a 29-year-old local resident.
