Man Went To Meet Girlfriend On September 9
The young man, who is married, is from the Mirzapur police station area. On Wednesday night, September 9, he reportedly went to the nearby village of Kasimpur to meet his girlfriend.
During the visit, members of the woman’s family allegedly caught him. According to the account provided by his family, he was tied with a rope and subjected to physical assault. Family Alleges INR 5 Lakh Was Demanded
During the discussions, money was reportedly sought in connection with the man’s release and settlement of the dispute. The victim’s family has alleged that INR 5 lakh was demanded. According to their claim, INR 3 lakh was taken by members of the young woman’s family, while INR 2 lakh was allegedly taken by intermediaries. These claims have not yet been independently established, and police are gathering information as part of their inquiry.
