Ketan Agarwal's Mother Raises Questions

Reacting to the viral video, Ketan Agarwal's mother alleged that Siya frequently attended parties and consumed alcohol, something she claims was never disclosed to their family before the engagement.

According to Ketan's mother, she had welcomed Siya as her future daughter-in-law and had made the family's views on alcohol consumption clear before the engagement.

The allegations have not been independently verified, and no official investigation has been announced regarding the claims related to the viral video.

Murder Allegedly Planned Hours Before Incident

Police investigating the case have alleged that hours before Ketan's death, Siya met Chaudhary at a café in Pune to discuss plans to kill him. According to investigators, the two identified possible locations at Lohagad Fort from where Ketan could be pushed while making the incident appear accidental.

Ketan and Siya were engaged in February and were scheduled to marry in November. Following the incident, Siya initially informed Ketan's family that he had slipped during a trek at the fort, police said.

According to police officials involved in the probe, Siya had repeatedly encouraged Ketan to visit Lohagad Fort in the weeks leading up to his death.

Investigators claim the couple visited the fort on May 31 and that another trip was proposed shortly afterward but did not take place. Police also allege that during a subsequent visit on June 14, an attempt was made to push Ketan from a cliff, but he managed to save himself.

Authorities claim that Siya later attributed the incident to the presence of a snake, presenting herself as having protected him. These allegations form part of the ongoing investigation and remain subject to judicial scrutiny.

CCTV Footage and Technical Evidence

Police said CCTV footage played a key role in identifying Chaudhary as a suspect. Investigators noticed a man wearing a hoodie and shorts allegedly following Ketan and Siya during the trek. In one clip, officers observed Siya looking back toward the hooded individual, who then reportedly changed his position.

Police found the attire unusual given that temperatures in the area were around 33 degrees Celsius on the day of the incident.

"The technical analysis established a close connection between the duo and pointed towards a well-thought-out conspiracy. We then examined photographs and social media profiles linked to Chaudhary. A comparison of those images with CCTV footage from the fort showing a hooded individual in the area helped police narrow their focus on him," a police officer was quoted as saying by PTI.

The officer added: "During interrogation, we connected all the dots, which revealed a premeditated conspiracy involving Siya and Chetan."

Thousands of Calls Between Accused, Police Say

According to investigators, analysis of phone records revealed that Siya and Chaudhary exchanged 2,004 phone calls totaling nearly 238 hours over the past seven months. Police said the two had met at a party during Diwali last year and maintained frequent contact thereafter.

Investigators further alleged that Siya did not wish to marry Ketan, who served as a director and chief marketing officer in his family's real estate business. The couple allegedly planned to kill him before he and Siya were due to travel to Bali for a pre-wedding photoshoot, police said.

"During the interrogation, Chetan was asked why they did not consider running away and instead chose to eliminate Ketan. According to him, Siya was not in favour of calling off the engagement and eloping with Chetan, as she thought doing so would bring disrespect to her family," the officer said.

Both Siya Goyal and Chetan Babulal Chaudhary have been arrested and are facing charges related to Ketan Agarwal's death. Investigators continue to examine digital evidence, CCTV footage, call records and witness statements as they build their case.

The latest viral video and comments made by Ketan's mother have further intensified public attention on a case that has already generated widespread discussion across social media and news platforms.
