Delhi Police Say Legal Action Was Taken
According to the Delhi Police, a case was registered at Parliament Street Police Station based on Sanjay Kumar's statement under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
Police said Suraj Kumar, 24, and Swatantra Bhardwaj, 21, were detained from the protest site and later served notices as part of the investigation. They were subsequently interrogated, according to the police statement.
The police said that due legal action had been taken and that a chargesheet would be filed before the competent court.
