The sudden fire caused brief panic among those attending the event. Local residents immediately stepped in to help contain the blaze using available water sources before emergency services arrived. Authorities have launched an inquiry to determine whether proper safety distance norms were followed during the ignition of the fireworks. Local police officials urged organizers of public gatherings and religious processions to strictly adhere to safety regulations, particularly regarding the handling of pyrotechnics near vehicles, crowds, and temporary structures. Processions in the area continued after safety checks were conducted along the rest of the route.
