UP: Man Rapes Girlfriend, Kills Her at Firozabad Hotel After Taking S*xual Stimulant Drug

A 23-year-old man allegedly raped and killed his 22-year-old girlfriend at a hotel in Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad after consuming a s*xual stimulant drug on his birthday, police said. The woman was allegedly killed after she resisted when the accused attempted to assault her again in the early hours of August 27.

Woman Was Returning Home for Raksha Bandhan

The two had studied together until Class 12. The woman later completed a BSc and a nursing course before moving to Gurgaon for work, according to the report. Police said the accused took her to a hotel in Firozabad, where he allegedly consumed a s*xual stimulant drug and sexually assaulted her.

Police Recover Mobile Phone, Drug Tablets

During the investigation, police recovered the victim's mobile phone and tablets of the s*xual stimulant drug from the accused. Police alleged that the man attempted to assault the woman again in the early hours of August 27. When she resisted, he allegedly attacked her, resulting in her death. Father Lodges Police Complaint

The woman's father approached the Shikohabad police station on August 27 and filed a complaint following her death. Based on the complaint and the evidence gathered during the investigation, police registered a case against the accused under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including those relating to rape and murder. Provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act have also been invoked, according to the report.

Accused Sent to Judicial Custody

The 23-year-old accused was arrested and produced before a court, which sent him to judicial custody, police said. Investigators are also looking for a 24-year-old alleged co-accused who is suspected of having a role in the incident.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the woman's death and the involvement of the suspects. The allegations against the accused will be tested through the judicial process.

Investigation Underway

Police are examining the evidence collected from the hotel and other locations as part of the investigation. The recovery of the victim's phone and the alleged s*xual stimulant tablets has also been included in the investigation.

The case comes amid continuing concerns over crimes against women and the misuse of substances. Police have not indicated that consumption of the stimulant alone caused the alleged violence; the circumstances and sequence of events remain subject to investigation.
