Uttar Pradesh: Fight Erupts Between PRD Jawan, Home Guard in Baghpat; Watch Video

Lucknow, August 25: Days after the Uttar Pradesh police drew flak after two its constables were caught on camera fighting in Kanpur over the front seat of police van, a similar video was released on social media today which showed two state security personnel exchanging physical blows. The incident was reported in Baghpat, where a dispute between the two officials led to a brawl in the public.

The fight reportedly erupted between a Prantiya Raksha Dal (PRD) jawan and a home guard in Mandi Chowki under Baraut police station, on Saturday. Circle Officer Baraut, RK Kushwaha said the fight erupted after a car which was under the home guard's observation was stopped by the PRD jawan at the mandi gate. This led to a heated verbal confrontation followed by a brawl.

"RTO had seized a car which was released y'day, the car was under home guard's observation,the PRD jawan stopped the car at the mandi gate, because of which a fight broke out between them. A report is being prepared for disciplinary action," Kushwaha said.
