Lucknow, November 6: Days after the Amritsar tragedy in which 60 Dussehra revellers were mowed down by a passing train, another similar incident has surfaced from Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh on Monday. According to reports, four gangmen working on a railway line were run over and killed by a train between Sandila and Umartali stations. As per details available, the Kolkata-Amritsar Akal Takth Express ran over them at around 12 pm, a railway spokesperson said. According to a report by PTI,  Additional SP, Hardoi, Gyananjay Singh saying that the gangmen who lost their lives are Kaushal (32), Rajesh (35), Ram Swarup (45) and Rajendra (42). As soon as the incident was reported, senior officials rushed to the spot and initiated a probe into the matter, northern railway spokesperson Deepak Kumar informed. According to reports, any repair work should be done on tracks with prior blocks taken from the concerned zone. Also, specific blocks or time is taken for repair to make sure that workers are not caught in between the two approaching trains.
