Officials are expected to examine the vehicle, road conditions and other circumstances as part of the investigation. No definitive cause, such as mechanical failure or driver error, has been established so far. The accident comes during Uttarakhand's monsoon season, when heavy rainfall can increase risks on hill roads through reduced visibility, slippery surfaces and possible road damage. However, authorities have not attributed Friday's crash to weather conditions at this stage.
